Every team's got that one player that the whole team revolves around. That's the idea behind this set. I'm not sure Prince is that guy for the Pistons, necessarily, but that's who I picked anyway.
I've been toying with the idea of making 9 cards sets like my pal Mike over at Hupe Royalty instead of only 3 like I normally do. The drawback is I probably won't be able to make as many new designs because of more time spent on each. So what do you think? Would you rather see more 3 card sets, or fewer 9 card sets? Later.

Back To The Finals, Baby!
Well, were finally back, so I gave the blog a makeover to commemorate it. Hope you like the new look. I had to watch on major delay due to Nobie baseball and the wife needing to see American Idol first, but it was worth the wait. Now it's time for bed. Later.

Anyone Hungry? - Big D Customs
Well, the Mavs have got me kinda bummed with the loss last night, so I had to post something kinda fun. Hopefully these will put a smile on your face too!
Big Baby seems to think the ball is a cheeseburger here.
I think Marc is enjoying a cheeseburger mid game!
These were a lot of fun to create and I really like how the diecut turned out. Personally, I think it's one of my best designs so far. Let me know what you think of them and sorry if I made anyone hungry! Later.

Bombs Away! - Big D Customs.
This next set features guys who'll drop a 3 on ya from time to time.
Bonner might seem like an odd choice, since he's no superstar, but he did lead the league in 3pt percentage this season.
Ray Allen is a natural choice since he is now the all time leader in 3pt shots made.
If you saw the Mavs last game against the Lakers then you know why JET is here. I thought I'd use a different pose than him shooting, just for some variety.

Dunkin' On Your Punkin' Head! - Big D Customs
Here's a set of guys who like to dunk on other dudes.
Notice I used one of the Wizards new logos. I have to say, their new unis and logos are a big improvement in my opinion.
Blake is the NBA's Dunker... whoops, I mean, Rookie of the Year.
I sure hope the Mavs resign Chandler. I'd rather have him dunking FOR us than ON us!

Mavs up, 2-Doh! on the Lakers! Woo Hoo!
Wow! Can you believe it? I can't actually, though I'm lovin' it. So far the series with the Lakers has been awesome, but I've learned over the years to not count my chickens before they're hatched, when it comes to my beloved Mavs. I've had my sports heart broken too many times already. Here's hopin' they can keep it up when they come back to Dallas. Here are a few Mavs cards from the recently released Classics set.
Dirk has been the man so far in this series, but what did you expect. Even Sir Charles can't stop gushing about him this year, he's fully on the bandwagon. Took him long enough to get there. In Chuck's words, Dirk really has been unguardable so far.
Dirk can't do it alone, though, and this guy is probably the second most important piece this year. Tyson brings the toughness the Mavs have lacked and I've seen more finished alley-oops this year than every other Mavs season combined, I think. He's a beast!
I feel kinda sorry for Caron being left out of the fun. Hopefully if the Mavs make it to the finals, he'll be able to get a little time. He's been rehabbing like a mad man.
Ian, on the other hand is not likely to see any time unless Chandler and Haywood are in bigtime foul trouble. It's kinda weird that he's even in this set considering there are only 4 Mavs included. What about Jason Kidd?
Lastly, I also picked up this nice Dirk relic with a sweet blue swatch. I really like the contrast of the yellow and blue.
So game three is tonight in Dallas and I can't wait. I'm just glad tomorrow is Saturday. These games ending at 12:30 are rough when you gotta get up for work at 5:00. It's been well worth it though! Later.
