Ranger Propaganda

Surprise, I'm here! Ya'll probably thought I was gone for good, didn't ya? Well, I have considered giving it up, but mostly I've just been really busy and didn't really think I had anything interesting to post about. I figured I'd better chime in on the Rangers making the World Series though. I can still barely believe that we are less than 48 hours away from game 1.

I've had a lot of late nights lately as I've had to watch almost all of the postseason on DVR delay due to the kids' baseball and football games. I've had to be anti-social at the games so no one would spoil the Ranger results for me, but that's okay. It turns out it was worth it. The only problem was I couldn't whoop and holler so much as I'd wake the kid up. The clincher though, being on a Friday night, was another story and it was awesome. The whole game was perfect, right down to A-Rod striking out for the final out.

So, now we've got less than two days to go until Cliff Lee and Tim Lincecum go head to head in game 1 and I can't wait. We'll, actually I will have to a little bit as Goose has soccer practice that night, so I'll have to fire up the DVR once again. That's okay though, not much could spoil my mood right now because if you look closely at that Cliff Lee poster above, you'll see it has World Series AND Texas Rangers on it. On the same poster! I can't believe it. Later

(By the way, I wish Topps would have put out these propaganda cards again in Update this year. I really liked the set last year. Anyone else miss them too?)

  1. I would buy update just for those two cards. Don't disappear on me Big D!

  2. Aren't they cool. I'm really disappointed they didn't do them again this year. The prints are cool and all, but kinda expensive. Little cards are much easier to store, too.

  4. Those are really nice! I think they look better than the original Propaganda posters. Good luck against the Giants.
